'Floating' rectangular 'sheet of paper',,,
Was having last cigarette of the night just before going to bed, opened 3rd. storey top flat bedroom window wider than it already was [*As weather was balmy/humid ]I leant elbows on windowsill so as to blow smoke outside, noticed what I thought was a piece of paper about 12 inches below sill. My first thought was that it must have been blown up by gust of wind, then noticed/remembered that there was'nt even a light breeze outside.
My 2nd. thought was about how perfectly parallel to building & level horizontally was this sheet of a light grey paper, [size 400mm x 250mm or so ]
Then the 'paper' suddenly changed from being flat to corrugated [* like 2 inch 'ripples' or gentle 'waves'of water ],,& moved away from building [as if being propelled by 'waves/ripples'] disappearing after had travelled about 1.5 metres. from window.
