Oval object hovering and then moving sideways without noise. Green and red lights
Clear sky, 65 degrees, flat farmland with no lights on nearby from any town. What appeared to be at first a blimp, was not. It had a flasing lights. Imagine a blimp with a green light on one end, a red light on the other, and red flashing lights in the middle where the controllers would be. The red lights also ran underneath the object. I hovered for several minutes in the sky, but I cannot determine how high. It appeared to turn to a clockwise rotation, then moved without sound to the north at a steady speed. As a blimp would move nose first into the wind, this moved sideways. As it passed overhead, no outline could be made out using high power binoculars. Once passed overhead, the lights on each end were now white, and not green and red as before. 15 sober people observed this. Perhaps it was a drone, just not sure. If I was to guess the length of it, I would say 100 or more feet across.
