Hovering aircraft spotted on I-64.
I saw the 14th Dalai Lama and a hovering aircraft today.
My wife and I were travelling on I 64 near Simpsonville, when I first saw an unusual light source in the distance.
As we got closer, we realized that the lights were attached to an aircraft. This thing was close enough to the interstate for me to ask my wife if it wasn't just a really tall highway overpass light, pointing forward, instead of down. She said point blank, “ No, that aircraft had two bright headlights, and it was hovering in place.” I got one good look at its shape, in the low light evening sky. It was triangular overall with a disk shape up front.
Having witnessed the Dalai Lama speak at the Yum Center this afternoon, and this engineering marvel, I feel blessed.
