Approximately 7:35 A.M. one orange horizontal light that expands and shrinks between 1-3 foot.
4/25/13 My two dogs and my cat were outside at appromixly 7:35 am. I was standing in my kitchen and heard my dog bark one time. I looked out my back door and my dog barked one time again (this is strange behavior for my dog). I wanted to find out what he was barking at so I stepped outside onto my porch. An orange horizontal light caught my eye. I said out loud to myself “what the hell was that?” I took my glasses off and looked back to the area where the orange light was hovering. I still saw the light. I put my glasses back on. I decided to video record the orange light.
I ran back into my house and retrieved my phone from my purse. I then went to my back door and started recording. I could not believe what I was witnessing. I recorded video on my phone for several seconds. The orange light was hovering between the ground and the electric lines. There was only one light. The light was between 1 and 3 foot. The orange light hovered between 3 to 5 minutes.! The light also expanded and shrunk. The orange light just shrunk so small it vanished.
I then phoned my fiancee and told him what happened. When I got to my office I was still wondering what I had witnessed earlier in the morning. I decided to search on the internet and see if there were any similar sightings. I came across a article that I will provide a link to at the end of my statement. The picture in the article that I came across had the exact same light that I had witnessed earlier in the morning. I then decided to report what I had witnessed.
When I got home from work I decided to phone the National UFO Reporting Center. I spoke with Peter Davenport. Peter listened to me tell my experience and then told me to write and submit a written statement.
