2013-04-24 - Jacksonville, FL - Fireball

I first saw fireball like objects in the sky on New Year's Eve. I saw at least two that night. It was like slow moving, flickering fireballs that were low in the sky. Seemingly way lower than your average plane and after 30 seconds or so, as I am trying to figure out what it is they flicker out and completely disappear. The reason why I am reporting this is because I just saw the exact same thing and googled it and found all these similar reports.

Tonight I only saw one. Same exact thing. Slow moving, flickering like a fireball, I initially thought it resembled what the average person identifies as a comet. Then just appeared to almost "burn out". I've talked to several people about it because we have a naval base local. But tonight a clearly US aircraft was flying towards this right as I saw it......there is no way this is not something recognized on US radar. Clearly.
