Greenish- Blue light in the sky
Last night somewhere in between 9:30 and 10:00 p.m. E.S.T., I was in my children's room on the second floor of my home laying down preparing to read stories. My eyes catching sight of something out the window were drawn to a greenish-blue colored light. I said to my boys , "do you see that?" As they responded, " see what?", the greenish- blue light sped away. It was only seconds, two to four seconds that it was amidst my gaze.
The light was a large roundish shape. It was smaller than the moon but much larger than a star. From my position if I could estimate the size it appeared, it seemed relative to that of a large children's' bouncy ball. Seemingly upward of 10 feet above my 30 -40 foot tree line is where the light appeared. As my eyes faced north, it sped away going north. Lying down in the position and facing North, (the direction in which I saw the greenish-blue colored light), the distance from where I caught sight of it and where I lost sight of it, was seemingly only six inches apart. As it sped away the round shape seemed more like a pear or tear drop shape. It was almost like lightning speed, how it disappeared so quickly from view.
Interestingly enough, I saw something similar a week or two ago. The light was also greenish- blue but it was traveling East. That time I was lying in my bed watching television. The time was somewhere between 9:00 - 11:30 p.m. E.S.T. Just as before, my eyes caught site of a light in the sky. Its distance covered the expanse of my backyard traveling east before disappearing from site. Now when I say disappear, it is NOT like watching a balloon that slowly leaves your site, it is NOT like a firework that fades as it falls. It disappears with a flash, very abruptly. In both sightings the light leaves with an abrupt flash.
