8 points of light like "stars" Top four "stars" changing formation from square shape to a triangle shape.
Looking up into the sky almost overhead I saw 8 points of light. Looked like stars clearly seen in the daylight if looking in that area.
They appeared to be stationary. Four points of light were in close proximity in a square shape, the other four were lower in the sky but in the same area. The bottom 4 points of light were well spaced apart. I observed for 10 minutes. In the first 5 mins that I observed they appeared to be stationary then after that I realised they were moving slowly towards the south west. During that time I noticed the top four lights became dull and then bright (back to original brightness) As this happened the top four (formation) changed shape from square to a triangle shape. As I continue to observe, the 8 points of light continued to slowly move from overhead towards the southwest and continued into the lighter blue sky until they could no longer be seen.

Hi. On the 15/04/2013. I reported seeing 8 tiny points of light over Newcastle, Australia. It was (11:10 am ). I watch them with my mouth open for ten minutes. The main thought on my mind at that time was, "What in the bloody hell are they?" I was in my work are in security on my own. After oprox 5 minutes I thought I had to tell someone I can trust & whiteness what I was seeing. So I rang my wife. I described their location in the sky but to my frustration she couldn't see anything. I just put it down to luck that I happened to look up at that time and that place in the sky when I did. They were hard to see unless pointed out to you. I was am in my late 50's, but my long distance site is very good. I don't wear glasses and I removed my sun glasses to rule out reflections. I told my close family what I saw & thats all. To this day I can still remember every detail. I have no doubt these things exist.
After watching many documentaries since the 1970s with scepticism I have read a great deal of books on the subject since then. I don't believe all I read and I understand others not believing me. I watched these tiny dots for ten minutes. Seeing is believing that is the only way I could believe wether they exist or not. But what I find almost as amazing as the siting it self is that there was no news about it in the media. I just can't beleave that the RAAF only about 20 kilometres north of Newcastle said nothing reported nothing not a word. Did they know they were there or not? And parks observatory to our southwest. Not a word.
I still feel I have what I saw bottled up onside and would a simple explanation why... I may never see anything like this again and in the middle of the day? But I hope I do. Thank you.
