Bright greenish blue flash in sky followed by a very weird loud sound (not thunder). Lit up sky 4 times between 11pm and 11:55pm.
Last night 2/26/13 between about 11pm and midnight my husband and I were sitting in bed watching TV and we saw a very bright flash outside followed by a very loud strange noise that was not thunder.
At first we thought it was lightening but then when it happened a second time we saw that the flash was bright greenish blue.
We got up to look out the window and saw it again it flashed twice bright greenish blue followed by a very weird noise that was loud but was not like anything I ever heard before and was not like thunder. It sounded more like someone blowing over the open end of a bottle but extremely loud, twice.
We saw it one more time again at about 11:55pm.
We were looking out different windows facing the same direction.
We both saw and heard the same thing.
The only thing I can think of is that it was a spaceship.
