Super fast red blinking light travelling across the sky.
I saw a red blinking light travelling so fast and very high in the atmosphere across the night sky. It also had a white "smoke looking" tail. It couldn't have been a meteor because it had a red blinking light.
I know a meteor would burn up while coming into the air friction of our atmosphere, but the light kept blinking. It could not have been a plane because it was travelling at least 50 times faster across the sky. It looked high in the atmosphere; maybe around 30-50 thousand feet.
It was travelling from the south heading north over the ocean from south near Mexico past north county San Diego.
