On Clinton Avenue, south of Dade City, I observed 12 round, orange lights traveling in a straight line from SW to NE, making no sound.
I was traveling west on Clinton Avenue just south of Dade City when I noticed a cluster of about 5 round, pinkish-orange lights that seemed to hang in a cluster in the sky like a constellation. I thought it was a strange color to be in the night sky, so when I got closer to where they were nearly over me, I pulled the car onto a side road and got out to watch them. I was amazed to see that there were many more coming and that they were traveling on a diagonal from southwest to northeast. I counted 12 altogether. The last one tagged along quite a bit behind the others. I saw it come up over the horizon in the distance, and although it was far behind, it flew at the same speed as the others. None of the “vehicles” made any noise whatsoever, and they all stayed at the same altitude all the way, which was lower than the small aircraft in the sky at the time. They were obviously on a mission, moving in a straight line but then disappearing into what seeme! d to be nothingness.
