Reader saw 6-8 orange lights in northern sky moving east. Couldn't identify them.
To whom it may concern: I'm a newspaper reporter and was instructed by an FAA employee to contact NUFORC with a question presented by one of our readers.
On Sunday, Jan. 6, at about 9:15 p.m., the reader let his dog out and when he locked in the northern sky he saw six or eight orange lights moving across the sky from west to east.
I checked with the FAA at Reading Regional Airport and they said they had three or four controllers on that night and that no one had reported any strange sightings.
We're curious if other sightings have been reported to you.
