Three oval shaped objects in the sky around the King of Prussia, PA area on I-76.
I found this site after reading of it in my local paper yesterday. I checked to see if there were any reports on it that coincided with what I saw between Christmas and New Year. I was surprised to find a report here on 12/5/12 of an almost exact sighting of 3 oval shaped objects in the sky at the exact location that I saw them 2 weeks later.
While driving home from Philadelphia on I-76 between Christmas and New Year, I saw 3 bright lights that later I saw were football shaped objects in the sky around the King of Prussia area that I watched for quite a while. At first I thought they were bright planets or stars. Then I thought since we were moving in a car that they were planes that were moving, also. I lost sight of one of them, only to see the 3 back together once we made a turn on the road. Once we were ‘under’ one of them, I looked up to see 2 red lights surrounded by some white lights in a football shape. I thought if this were a plane, there should be tail lights. But I didn’t see any shadow or lights that indicated a tail.
I watched them stationary in the sky until we got to the Limerick/Pottstown area of I-76 and then I couldn’t see them anymore. The strange thing, though, is we made this same trip several more times during that week and I saw them at least once more that I remember.
