2012-12-24 - Tampa, FL - Fireball

A fiery round craft headed north at low altitude followed by an identical craft a few seconds behind.

At 11:40pm on Dec 24 , my brother , girlfriend , neighbor and I saw a fiery orange round craft moving due north about a quarter to half a mile away at low altitude followed by another identical craft following the same path about 10 to 15 seconds behind the first one.

As I was focused on the closer second craft, my brother was still watching the first one as was getting smaller the further it went away and he witnessed it discontinue its straight, level, silent, consistent flight and quickly shoot up and out of sight. These were fiery orange pinkish round on the top with 2 illuminated "legs" hanging beneath the craft. It seemed they were about 15 to 20 feet in diameter and moving about 50 to 80 mph level about 300 to 500 ft altitude until they dashed away at extremely high speed. Oddly enough ,a couple months ago, I witnessed a similarly colored larger ufo on Oct 18 also at exactly 11:40 pm.
