Bright light disappeared with no trace; blue flash following
It was 1:20 AM and it was time to bid my friend farewell. I walk him outside to the sidewalk and right as I walk out, I observe how beautiful the stars are. Right above me was the North Star and various other stars of which I don't have names for. They were really glowing bright and I couldn't help but admire them for there hasn't been a clear night in awhile. As I was digressing I couldn't help but notice a bright light in my peripheral vision at about 250 degrees west. I immediately give the apparition my full attention and as quick as it manifested, it was gone in a blink. What was amazing to me was that it almost looked like a shooting star. I have seen many shooting stars before and I knew for a fact that it did not look like any shooting star I've seen before. I've only seen shooting stars at the beach or through countryside drives; and may I remind you I live in the vast glowing city of LA where city lights would make it unlikely to see a shooting star. what I saw did not have a trail and disappeared abruptly. It did not burn out or fade away. The best way I could describe it is that it was just as bright as the North Star and same shape, but was moving in a diagonal fashion downward towards the ground; just like a shooting star.
3:03 AM- As I was writing this, just a little less than two hours after the incident, there was a bright blue flash in the window. The flash was relatively similar to a blue lighting flash for it had illuminated the sky. There is clear weather and little to no clouds. I debunked the idea of it being a car because there were no driving cars on my st as this occurred. Another hypothesis is it could've been a blown transformer, but I don't think this is what the light appeared like. There was no sound. May I remind you again, it is a clear night in the LA area. What I saw I'm not sure, that's why I'm here.
