Yellow stationary light in the sky low on the horizon that was stationary for at least 10 seconds and then disappeared suddenly
There was a strange light in the sky over the San Francisco Bay Area around 3pm today. It looked like a yellow star but it was much larger/closer to the earth and fairly low on the horizon. It was not a plane. It was stationary. I watched it for about 10 seconds and then it just "poof" disappeared.
