Glowing Green and yellow fireball Over the water in Manchester by the sea. Possibly an asteroid... But I just don't know!
A good friend and I were sitting on a bench, stargazing at the beach in Manchester, Ma. When all of a sudden I witnessed a glowing green/ yellowish white burning object falling from the sky at a very low altitude.
It surely didn't seem like a meteor or asteroid simply because it was too low. It didn't have a tail.
I may have just witnessed a chunk of an asteroid with copper in it as some websites suggest. But I really don't know if that's the case. The green glow came created a half circle on the side it was traveling towards.
It lasted 5 seconds and then it was gone.
I wish I had a camcorder rolling…
