3 reflective spheres southbound over Riverside CA toward Lake Matthews in formation w/ one breaking off, then loss of contact.
As I was driving westbound adjacent to the 91 freeway I noticed 3 small spheres flying in formation and moving faster than a helicopter or plane would. They were headed in one direction; south. They were high in the air; if I had to guess I would say about 3000 feet. They were very reflective which is how I spotted them to begin with. As they flew across the sky they were headed toward Lake Matthews. One split off from their formation and led the other two. About five seconds after that I lost sight of them.
This is my first UFO sighting and have heard of many that are not recorded. I've seen and have been around aircraft (former US Navy, stationed on an aircraft carrier). I am sure of what I saw.
