Orange balls of light appeared in sky above the ocean and darted from left to right.
We were sitting ocean front at our vacation beach house. We thought first that there were distress flares being shot up out to sea but quickly concluded it was not. There was flare gun trails from the sea surface. Orange balls of light would appear and disappear in the sky above the ocean. Some orange balls of light would appear lined up side by side horizontally as many as 4. Lights darted across the sky at quick speeds. At the end of our observation, a series of twinkling white lights appeared as a large cluster and faded away.
