Red/Orange fireball in sky over South shore of Long Island New York
I was standing outside on my back porch at 10 pm Oct. 4th when I saw a glowing, flickering orange/ red fireball rising in the sky over what looked to be Long Beach from my vantage point. It had no strobes or red/green navigation lights. The light rose up, slowly curved a bit and than slowly faded out. It looked to be about 4 miles from where I was. I waited for 20 minutes for it to reappear but it did not.
