9/29/12 It was 10:13 pm at night and my father and i were heading home from town. We were only about a hundred yards from our drive way when an orange spherical orbe of light i had time to see it because i was thoughtfully looking at the moon. We live in the country so there isnt much light polution. When the orbe came in to view it was moving faster than any jet or normal aircraft i have ever seen in my life. It was moving at such a speed that it cleared rear horizon to front horizon in no more than two seconds. It had no dust trail or tail like a meteor does.
I am intrested in science of all kinds so i watch shows like ufo files and ect. Not to mention the orb from my point of view the objects was about the size of a half dollar. The encounter only lasted 2 seconds. I would like to know if similar sightings have been reported. Thank you.
