Large sphere of light ascending straight up very quickly from the ground.
Me and my friend were outside and I was getting ready to leave her house. We started noticing weird things in the sky. As we were watching blinking lights, numerous triangular shaped aircraft moving quickly with flickering lights, we saw what appeared to be a disco ball of Christmas tree lights (best way I know how to describe it) and it came from the ground as opposed to the sky. It ascended straight up and hovered around. It wall wares to be moving very fast and vanished.
