Large silver vertical object hovering
I am a shuttle bus driver in Central Illinois. At 0630 i was en route to my first stop. At that time I saw in the sky what appeared to be a large silver vertical object. It appeared to be very large. The object was not moving. I continued watching the object. Over the next several minutes the object slowly started moving upward. At this point I determined it was something I could not recognize. It was close enough that if it was a jet I would have been able to see it. It then turned from a metallic appearence into what can best be described as a solid jet stream. The "stream" then split into two. One of the two "streams" continued upwards while the other stream veared off for some distance and then veered back toward the other stream and joined it once again. During this time I did manage to take three pictures from my android smartphone.
