Several objects seen moving over north shores of Lake Ontario, over a 2 hour period.
Hello, I've been sitting on the shores of Lake Ontario, from St.Catharines, close to Lock 1. I got here around 8:40PM, today, Sept 11th, 2012. As soon as I got here, I started noticing several objects in the sky. At first it was just 2, when looking north west towards Mississauga and Toronto. It is currently 10:10PM, but I still see them. I am with a friend, who is seeing exactly the same things I am.
By some odd luck, I brought my binoculars with me, so I was able to get a kind of look at them. They hover, several 100ft off the ground in the air, and sit for up to a few minutes at a time, then they slowly move away. Then one appears at the spot it was before, but they start off dim and get brighter over a period of a few seconds. They appeared to flicker.
When I looked with the binoculars, they emit a sort of yellowish light, as well as a reddish light that appears to spin around them. I can't tell the shape, but they look almost dome-like, like a bell, but I can't tell, as my bushnell's only have up to 15x.
They appeared above Toronto several times, but just for no longer than 30 seconds. The 2 'UFO's mostly shown up above what I think is Mississauga or Burlington direction. One appeared near Hamilton direction earlier on in my sighting.
There is one posing as a 'star', staying present the whole time, between Hamilton/Mississauga, but high in the sky. Upon closer binocular view, it looked just like the rest, but had rotating green lights, as well. In the other direction, looking towards ajax area? I saw another object just like this, doing the same thing.
The first 2 objects hover, so they cannot be planes. They cannot be helicopters, because when they move, they cover ground much faster than a heli. A heli does not explain the red and white light that rotates along it's whole body just a few times a second. Currently, they are hovering west of Toronto, what I'll call Mississauga/Oakville. One is hovering a bit away, but higher. The higher one vanishes, then the other got brighter, now it has vanished, too (10:28PM).
Note: I am typing this from my phone, and the battery is dying.
As I finish this email, the 2 higher stationary objects are still in the sky. The Hamilton/Burlington one has moved slowly more towards Burlington/Oakville area. One of the moving objects has reappeared.
Please let me know if you have heard of this before, or any possible explanation? If anything, this kind of made me believe there might actually be aliens out there, or maybe craft that the government hasn't shown us.
