Chevron-shaped object caught in photo of Mt. Adams reflection on lake
I was visiting Takhlakh Lake near Mt. Adams in southern Washington and was inspired to take some photos of the lake from its eastern shore around 9 A.M. Around that time there were several people walking their dogs and a man painting the lake on the nearby shore.
After taking several pictures of the mountain, I felt compelled to photograph its reflection on the lake. When I returned home several days later, I noticed a dark chevron-shaped object in that photo (sumbitted to NUFORC). It appears to be banked on its side and located above the treetops in front of the mountain. When magnified, the object appears to have two red areas located bilaterally near the front and a blue area just behind them.
While I took that particular photo there was no sound of aircraft. I had been looking at my cameraโs LCD viewfinder from a distance and didnโt see anything flying. I was interested in visiting the Mt. Adams vicinity because I had heard it described as an energy vortex with elevated numbers of UFO sightings.
((NUFORC Note: Mystery solved! The source of the report looked at other photos, and the object is a log, sticking out of the water, which created a very interesting mirrored-image, somewhat similar in appearance to a B-2 bomber. Our gratitude to the source for his intrepid search for an explanation of the very interesting looking photo. PD))
