Several orange glowing balls in single line 1/4-1/2 mile apart. West to East around Hatcher Pass
Traveling from West to East, 5 orange glowing balls in straight line formation about 1/4 to 1/2 mile apart comparable to helicopter formation and speed. No sound. Just below cloud level, maybe 1000-2000 ft. elevation. Came from West of Susitna River, lost sight because of trees in sight line - traveling in direction of Hatcher Pass. Watched for several minutes. Other cars pulled over watching also. Fighter (?) jet came through at 90 degrees to the front of the string a couple miles ahead of them.
