5 objects viewed durning landing approach to Kansas City MO airport MCI
8/26/12 at 8:15 pm on approach into Kansas City (MCI) airport from Memphis, flight touched down at 8:25 pm ct. Observed 5 metallic dark silver tear drop objects with red glowing interior as it passed above large radio broadcast antenna and below our wing. Tried to make out if it was another aircraft, determined it was not as there were no wings or rotors. If it was suspended or supported from the ground and could not see that. The objects were very close to the plane 100-200 feet and closer to the plane than the radio broadcast antenna. Do not know what I saw. A white light appeared at the end of one of the objects. Plane flew over them and they were gone out of sight from my window. They were moving at and angle slightly away from the plane while the radio antenna stayed in a constant left to right position, so I determined the object was not attached to the ground and moving away from the plane meant they were flying, basically our flight path did ! not “make” the objects move as the ground objects moved. They were in the air and in formation.
I will email a image that I have mocked up of what I saw, as my camera was turned off for landing.
