firey orange sphere
Reference 7/29/12 Ithaca NY...almost exactly same type of sighting...lower altitude...about the size of a pea at arms length...reddish/orange flashing lights with an occasional flash of white light...pattern never repeats....came from the southwest (lower altitude than NY sighting,and closer)slows down to a stop then changed direction to south...turns very bright then disappears
