About a dozen strange silent orange lights in a formation flew slowly over the night sky in Minneapolis, MN
I saw these strange orange lights flying in the sky. We live near an airport and these were NOT aircraft. There were too many of them in a row and too close to each other. Aircraft would never fly that close together except perhaps the military. An aircraft did fly lower than the lights as we watched and looked nothing like these lights. Soon after the lights passed us it started to rain.
They were moving over our apartment building, probably like 12 of them, and were staggered, ad much larger lights than any aircraft I've ever seen, and weren't flying always in a straight line but instead a general direction. They made no noise at all and eventually vanished in the distance.
