Bright purple orbe moving in strange directions while changing colour to white.
While driving at 3:15am, we observed 2 bright purple lights in the sky. I stopped the vehicle to observe for roughly 1 minute. They were vertically placed (one light above the other), and were at the distance of high flying airplane. The lights were moving in unison, so it appeared that they were apart of a single aircraft. They were moving in different directions, left/right/up/down, and turned into one single purple light. It started descending into our direction and changed colour to a bright white light. It then reversed into the opposite direction and changed colour back to bright purple. It descended very quickly towards the Earth, and it looked like it got very close, until eventually it was out of sight (our view was obstructed by trees).
The observers were 4 girls, between the ages of 19-24yrs.
