Orange ball over Luzerne County
Sitting on the back porch having a cigarette, my wife came out and we looked up at the sky. We noticed a bright orange ball at a high altitude moving fairly quickly across the sky. At first I thought it was a satellite. The porch faces North East and the craft was moving from south to north as it was slightly east of us. It was headed over luzerne county towards Scranton. There were no red or green lights as on an aircraft or helicopter and it was silent, ie. no doppler effect. As it went towards the horizon the orange glow pulsated and faded into the distance.
