aircraft that can explain some of the sightings
This is not a UFO but an oddly lit aircraft that might be the source of some of the UFO sightings in the Kansas City region.
The aircraft about the size of a 747 with yellow-orange lights running down the body of the aircraft from the nose to the tail.
The lights are extremely bright compared the the normal aircraft lighting from the cabin windows being open and the typical lighting on an aircraft.
Spotted the aircraft moving north to south and looked like a glowing orange cigar shaped craft at about 20-30 miles out.
Plane then tuned and flew directly over my house and clearly make it out as an aircraft.
Not sure what aircraft it was, but had quad engines and wings under under the body. Body length about the size of a 747.
Could not clearly make out the body or any markings as the lighting was too bright.
Aircraft was not in a landing approach to MCI or from a take off at MCI.
Looks like its flying around. Changed directions and started to head to Kansas City Kansas about 1 or 2 miles from my house.
