Mysterious light resembling fire scanning cylinder
While sitting on our back porch with friends we noticed a fire ball in a scanning cylinder resembling an airplane on fire with no wing lights, tail lights and also no sound. Appearing from the south over Viola flying about 1500-2000 thousand feet heading north.
As it was flying over it appeared to be scanning from left to right. Disappearing out of eye sight range as it went towards Dover area.
Approximately 10 minutes later, a second fire ball rose up from the south traveling North over the same area in a scanning motion. The fire appeared to be down inside a cone shape. As it passed us the fire did not appear to us. But it was the color of a sodium street light it resembled a fire.
Afterwards contacted State Police and reported sighting.
