Some sort of egg plant shaped craft dimmly lit from inside slightly pointed in front round in back white in front red in back.
MY wife and I were at Goose Creek lake a gated comunity with some 1000 or so perminent residents and weekend property owners we are weekend and vacation property owners for 3 years now.
My wife and I desided to go fishing sat. night for catfish at a pond that sits up above the large lake and to the south about 500 yards away.
We started fishing about 10:30 pm and were doing quite well with 7 catfish by 2am but they seemed to stop biting and we started to get bored so we were star gazzing and admiring the moon which was very cresent just a sliver but you could completly see the dark side as well.
There was a family fishing down the bank from us but they were leaving. After about 30 min. more we were getting ready to go back and clean fish and go to bed I happened to look up from gathering things and slightly behind us coming from the east was some sort of craft headed west into a slight breeze I asked my wife what the heck is that and she responded oh my God it was moving about 30 miles an hour at a steady speed slightly pointed in front and round in back about 300 feet away and about 100 to 150 feet high I remember thinking I could cast a line over it and snag it but all I did was walk a little closer and my wife said where are you going so I stoped.
It seemed to be lit from inside like a dim neon brilliant white in front and slowly transitioned to deep red in back about 30 feet long and 10 feet thick the shape of a cucumber or egg plant completly silent it moved past us and the pond about 100 feet than made a 90 degree turn right angle I remember thinking its got to be some kind of crazy giant balloon but after that turn I knew it was"nt it continued down the valley over the big lake and up the other side until it was just a red dot and disappeared over the horizon.
Its been a year now and I can"t seem to stop thinking about it was"nt going to report it but I came across your website and thought it would ease my mind a bit to report it thanks.
