5 lights in formation
While looking at the stars about 10:00 pm in Pedro, Ohio on July 6, 2012, I noticed 2 lights in the sky that appeared to be slowly moving and slowly climbing in altitude and from a southwest to northeast direction. They seemed to be a great distance away from me but were very vivid lights that did not flash or change color, only size and intensity. As the lights gained altitude, they slowly diminished in size. Their color was a bright orange-yellow. My wife and her mother also witnessed the lights. The strangest thing was that these lights appeared to be moving in a straight line, one behind the other, and they were evenly spaced!
I watched as a total of 5 lights appeared and slowly faded out of sight. This all occurred in a little under 10 minutes.
