4th of July Fireball, NOT a Firework.
My Fiancee,her mother, her mothers friend and myself were sitting on the back deck at a few minutes after 9 p.m. on the 4th of July.And needless to say there were plenty of fireworks going off around us in pretty much every directions. They were sitting around a table and i was on a couch with my back to the fireball object my Fiancee spotted.
I heard her say 'what is that?" as she pointed my direction up to the sky. We all quickly turned to look, and we all got up immediately and moved to the edge of the deck to get the best view possible.
It was a fireball moving from south to north very slowly. We could tell right away, this was no firework or airplane. We watched in amazement for about 2 minutes until it just vanished. Also, this was the second time i saw this object in a year. The first time i saw this fireball was around august 1st of 2011. And i was able to get 19 seconds of video on my iPhone. You can clearly see the object in the video, but it does not do justice how big it really was. On the video it looks like a tiny orange orb.
Hopefully someone else saw what we saw and possibly took some video.
