2012-07-04 - Port Saint Lucie, FL - Fireball

Reddish Orange Fireball coming from East turns N. over E. Coast FL heads toward North Star.

Approximately 21:30; 4th of July 2012 I saw a reddish orange ball of light appear out of the east moving west. No flashing lights - red, green or strobe. Getting bigger as it came closer. I live 10 miles inland off the east cost of florida known as the Treasure Coast area. It may have been over the city - Port St. Lucie, Florida when it turned and headed north. In two seconds it moved toward the North Star getting smaller until it just out of sight. The whole episode was only about 15 seconds. I knew if I went in to get my camera, I would have missed it.

Seen exact same thing happen on the night of Jan. 1, 2012, when fireworks were going off. It seems that it came in to inspect and then shot out of sight.
