Orange globe seen over ocean off of JAX Beach
Viewed a large orange glow over the ocean - distance not known - east of Jax Beach. Viewed with 8X binoculars - the image was very clear - an orange globe with a bright spot in the lower center - very much like what you would see if viewing a large hot air balloon.
However, the object was moving north - again not sure about speed becuase distance was not known - it was moving very fast and we watched it as it moved - it was not a plane or helocoptor - very familiar with these objects being in the service.
This object passed over a fishing vessel and then just disappeared.
The total flight started south of Jax Beach - again not sure about distance as it was dark but it had to be far as there was no sound. The ships visible were probably about 8-10 miles offshore - I can see about 18 miles to the horizon from my vantage point 180 feet above the sand. The center light or flame seemed to pulse and the orange globe pulsed with the center flame or light.
