It was a large ball of bright white light that flew below the tree line north of Mingus Mountain Campground from west to east.
I awoke to go pee at approximately 2-3 AM. And I was amazed at how filled the sky was with stars. I followed one shooting star as it went down. Then noticed a bright light that moved quickly out of view. It was a large ball of bright white light that flew below the tree line north of Mingus Mountain Campground from west to east, towards the radio towers.
The light did not bounce around, and its intensity seemed constant. Until it disappeared behind a ridge.
Size is hard to estimate. I didn't hear anything but the breeze blowing through the trees.
