Peculiar Object Sighted
The object appeared to be a star, possibly a satelite or a meteor moving from the vicinity of Saturn eastward in a straight line across the sky until it faded and disappeared in the vicinity of HR 6353 (I used the iPhone app Starwalk to identify the approximate positions).
