Strange flourescent green orb seen on land behind my backyard, object got close enough for me to see its true form as tall green body
Me and my girlfriend were in my backyard. In the middle of an argument, she got my full attention by questioning the source of a light approaching our direction. As it got closer it appeared to be in the shape of a green orb traveling on the ground with a small, bright light following maybe 5 feet above the green orb. The shade of green was flourescent.
There is a strip of land behind the fence of my backyard which runs parallel to my house, which is where the subject was moving. The situation was very strange because the object was completely silent.
What's even more strange is the fact that my dog was sitting next to the fence facing me and my girlfriend (and my house) and did not sense whatever was behind it and considering the time of night there are no other loud noises outside to counteract against the movement of the object behind my dog.
Directly behind my dog was a big bush (the bush is behind the fence) and a clear spot right after the bush until th! eres another bush, however the point is that there is a perfectly clear spot where I can see the object is going to come out. When the object finally reached that point I could see clearly that this wasn't an orb but a tall, linky body that was glowing green from head to toe. The object was so bright, from when we initially saw it, that it could only be identified as a blob of light. The subject then continued down the strip of land (following underneath the powerlines) until it reached the elementary school playground. Obviously you can see the playground from my backyard, however here I saw an array of lights moving frantically in an oval movement and then the array of lights formed back into the original green flourescent light and it zipped off into a nearby trail at an astounding rate of speed.
A period of approximately 5 minutes went by until we spotted the bright light that was initially trailing behind the orb above all the tall brush (about 13-15 feet high). It was approaching our line of vision again just the opposite way this time, however this time it was making a strange vibrating sound.
Once it got about 30-40 yards from my girlfriend and I, we headed for the front of my house because this thing approaching us sounded unpleasant.
I honestly had seen enough and knew that it was nothing human and I did not want to stick around and possibly get hurt.
