2012-05-11 - Oak City, NC - Sphere

Two red spheres seen moving fast, low and silently then disappearing in to nothing. Martin County, NC.

On May the 12 2012 me and my girlfriend were on the way home from Greenville, NC when we saw something that still terrifies me to the core for I have never had such an encounter. I will not add anything at all and try to include everything that I witnessed. I am not aiming to fool or trick any one only to share what two people saw with someone who may care. Before this encounter neither us have given much thought to alien aircraft or really believed in them at all. We would have most certainly taken pictures if my phones camera was funcional and my girlfriends wasn't dead, While on a fairly average ride home after catching a movie, two bright red spheres shot across the sky probably around 200 feet in the air seemingly out of nowhere moving from the left side of the road to the right. The part that disturbed me was the fact of how close they were with respect to our vehicle and how there was no sound what so ever. These two red orb-like objects were movingly alarmingly fast to not be making any sound at all. After us initially seeing these objects they seemed to almost form into one (or maybe line up) and ascend to probably around 1100 feet at which point it stopped abruptly. It then appeared to be a rectangular shape almost like a cell phone tower light. I rule out this being a cell phone tower due to the fact that while there are towers through this area, none are red, they are all blue. Once it appeared as a rectangle it simply warped into nothing, gone. I would like to shed a little light on the matter for someone else like me who would l! ike some kind of explanation.
