Extremely bright light moves slowly above mountain range near Cheyenne Mountain, CO
My house faces Cheyenne Mountain and a couple of other mountains in the central Colorado Rockies. An extremely bright light moved northwest from the sky directly above Cheyenne Mountain to about 25 miles up the range near where Manitou Springs would be from my vantage over the period of about a half an hour.
The light itself was extremely bright, brighter than anything else in the sky. Aircraft were present in the sky to compare against, and they too were much dimmer. No blinking transponder lights present. The nature of the light seemed closer to starlight, with green rays present.
I stared at the light for a while and it seemed to have three points in the center. The craft moved extremely slowly, the movement almost undetectable. I went to get recording equipment and watched it fade away before my eyes. I'm not sure if it went behind a mountain or if it simply faded.
