2012-04-16 - Santa Nella, CA - Rectangle

I observed a object that caused multiple vehicles to pull off the freeway to look.

On Monday, April 16, 2012, I was traveling from San Jose, California to Los Angeles, California. I traveled from 101 Southbound and got onto 152 Eastbound. I was on 152 E. for approximately 20 minutes (15 miles) before I observed numerous vehicles pulling to the side of the highway and exiting their vehicles. I saw this going on for several minutes and just figured there was a military plane or helicopter and continued driving. After another minute I saw some Semi-Trucks pulling over and determined that it must be something of importance, as they have a very heavy load and it’s difficult to stop the Semi-Trucks on the side of the freeway. This was at 7:34 a.m.

As I exited my vehicle there were multiple people on the other side of the freeway looking in a particular spot. I immediately grabbed my video camera that is equipped with a 40x Optical zoom and located the object. I was in complete disbelief because I personally have never believed in UFO’s and though it was a bunch of fairy tail stories. Once I continued to zoom in and out on the object, I realized it was staying stationary and at a VERY high elevation. I’m not good at explaining the looks of an object, therefore; I’ll let the video speak my words.

After a couple of minutes I re-entered my vehicle and continued on 152 Eastbound. After a several minutes of driving and approximately 5 miles, I decided to get a different view/angle on the object if it was still in the sky. I pulled over next to a large lake off the freeway and went up a side dirt road. I positioned my vehicle and located the object again. This time I was further East and mostly got a large glare of the sun off the object. It almost appeared the object was glowing, but I think it was likely the sun. As I was video taping the object, a State Ranger drove bye my vehicle at a high rate of speed and though he saw me in a restricted area, he didn’t bother questioning me and appeared he was heading to a certain area of the lake.

I would like to indicate that the object appears to be moving in the video, but I did not have my camera on a tripod and due to the high power zoom, the camera was moving slightly in my hand and the object WAS NOT moving.
