Fast moving red balls in the sky over the Gulf Of Mexico of the coast of Anna Maria Island
The first object observed was witnessed by three people, all professionals in the restaurant industry. The object was round and red in color and appeared to be at a fast rate of speed over the Gulf of Mexico heading north to south before disappearing behind cloud cover (cloud cover was observed, it did not vanish). The object flew relatively straight and then veered upward slightly before entering the clouds and could no longer be seen.
The second object appeared on what seemed to be the same course and looked the exact same as the first. This object appeared approximately 3 minutes after the first.
The third and fourth objects, which were the same as the first two, appeared prior to the second object fading into the cloud cover. These two were flying much lower, heading in a south eastern direction until nearing the coast line and then began heading north to south again. The last two were observed for around 4 minutes or so as they made their climb into the clouds. These two followed one after the other but not in an exact line, the last of the four followed approximately 1 mile behind the other and a tad bit lower. It also started its climb further south then the one in front of it. Both of these crafts flew upward at an angle and entered the cloud cover much higher than the first two.
Not one of the four crafts made any noise that was heard by onlookers and there was no flashing lights, just solid red with an orange hue at the top of the first. Also, the first and fourth were moving faster than the second and third. One onlooker described the object as round and red and another in the shape of a flame as it approached and, a red ball from the back side after passing. There were a number of camera phone photos and video that onlookers tried to attain but the only picture that resembled anything was a small red line.
There were 9 observers total. Four saw the first object in its full form. 8 observed the second. All 9 observed the third and fourth. 8 are restaurant associates and one works for a paper.
