Bright white object traveling for aprox 3 seconds east to west in northern sky--object "flashed/sparked" a bright green & disappeared
Aprox 9:40 p.m. MDST driving north on Hwy 65 from Delta, CO, toward Cedaredge, CO. Saw large bright white light in north sky traveling from east to west for possibly 3 seconds. It then “flashed” green sending out “sparks” and disappeared. Two witnesses in front seat of car saw it at exact same time—DIDN’T look like previous meteors they’ve seen which have lasted longer, traveled greater distance across sky with more “arching” trajectory and were yellow/gold. Watched sky for other occurrences—none seen in following 15-20 min.
