3 bright red lights in formation over Scottsdale Arizona March 24 2012 at 9:30 PM.
We had finished working in downtown Scottsdale, Arizona and were loading up our equipment into our vehicle before we noticed the event that took place in the sky above. It was around 9:30PM. We got in our vehicle and noticed 3 bright red lights in the clear sky, moving slowly toward us from far away in the West. Friends were outside our vehicle in the parking lot and we mentioned the lights to them. One of our friends took a picture with her cell phone. The lights were equal-distant apart from each other as if in formation. They were steady and not flashing during the whole sighting. They then turned to the South and looped back in a Southwesterly direction and upward until they disappeared. They stayed in formation the entire time.
