Large UFO observed by several inmates.
A man I have known for many years told me over the phone that he, along with other inmates, were out in the Jail yard at approximately 13:00 hrs on Wednesday when he (and others) observed a mushroom/Jelly fish (without the tentacles) shaped solid dome the size of what he believes was that of a football field, and the color of dull aluminum. It was high up but clearly visible and he estimates he observed it for 10 to 15 seconds, "just long enough to see and know that this wasn't any type of craft presently known to us.
The craft dissapeared with a powerful Voom! sound. He said it felt like the craft took energy from its surroundings when it just vanished out of sight. He said it was like it broke the sound barrier. He tried to explain it by saying it was like a vaccuum/suction kind of "voom" sound. He also said it left a mist/vapor-like outline behind of the craft's form.
He also stated that approximately 2-3 minutes later there were two fighter jets seen cir! cling that area. He said at least 4 other inmates saw it too, and that others heard the sound it made when it dissapeared.
I am a person of integrity and I have known this man for almost all of his life and I believe him to be telling the truth. He did not ask me to contact anyone. I asked him if it would be ok for me to share it with you and he agreed to it.
((NUFORC Note: We spoke with the witness via telephone, and she sounded to us to be quite responsible and credible. At least four witnesses at the local jail saw the object, but after noticing it, they appeared to just go back to what they were doing, prior to the sighting. PD))
