A ball, bright as an LED, 15 feet away from us, stayed infront of our car for about 10 seconds at 110MPH then disappear in the horizon
My wife and myself, in 2012, were driving from Santa Fe, NM to Oklahoma city, on a road trip around the US.
When we saw the UFO, it was close to mid night.
It was on Road 412 in OK, I remember because my old Garmin GPS was on, as we do not live in that area and we relied on it to make it to our destinations.
This is a road with almost no traffic, it is a VERY LONG, STRAIGHT, one lane each-way road. (see google maps)
I was driving on cruise control at about 110MPH. I was young and reckless, but the weather was nice, and I had really good visibility.
All of the sudden, a bright, white ball, showed up out of no where, it came from behind us, in a bit of a diagonal direction, meaning, it came from the direction of my right side back, and stayed in front of me, slightly to my left at about 12 feet from the ground and about 15 feet from us.
It kept a steady distance from our car, so from our reference point, it seemed to remain in a steady position, meaning, it was traveling at around 110MP, it didn't wobble, did not go up or down, it didn't make a sound, it just stayed fixated in the same position and distance from my car.
10 seconds later, it just accelerated from the position it was in, with reference to my car moving at 110MP, to the horizon. That distance was covered in 1 second. It didn't go up, to the sky, it went straight, keeping more or less the same height.
This road has no lights, no main cities nearby, it was not a star we saw high up in the sky, it was very close to us, it was not the reflection of my headlights in the electrical cables that follows the road, this road has no elevation, no turns, no traffic, just a boring straight long road.
I am an engineer, I look for explanations for the things I see, this was not an hallucination, we were not under the influence, it truly is what we saw.
Nothing happened to our car, our electrical systems, our vision, everything kept a normal condition, other than us being shaken up.
I only filed this today because I just found out about this site from a Shotime show.
