Small, bright, white light appears, beam of light flashes, then it's gone.
I was in my backyard looking at the stars, when I suddenly saw a bright white light appear, which seemed to be the size of a dime from my perspective. Then a beam of seamless white light from it, pointed in the middle from the sheer distance, flashed over my backyard, and mine alone. Then, as quickly as it came, it was gone.
