observed a solid white light moving at great speed in a south east direction.
on 01/02/2012 at 1750 HRS my self and a friend observed a white light that was extremley bright moving at a high rate of speed in a south east direction of travle. tonight is clear over colorado springs other aircraft were visible this light was solid white and did not have any other flashing lights to indicate that it was an air craft. other aircraft in the area had visible contrales. this did not. it appeared to be at a mid to high level of altitude. the white light had an aurora around it. as the light headed to the south east the bright white lite dimmed to a dull amber light and appeared to move faster as it faded. the amber light continued to fade until it was no longer visible. we were in a city park when we observed the light it also made no sound as it moved.
